Viljandi Window & Door Ltd. installed an automatic activated carbon ventilation solution in the production building, which will help the company increase productivity while meeting environmental standards and keeping the surrounding air 85% cleaner than before. During testing, the air purity index was as high as 99.8%.
“In order to reduce the environmental impact, we first started improving the dispersion conditions of pollution in production,” explained Veiko Põldsaar, Development Project Manager at Viljandi Window & Door Ltd. ”Then we looked for alternatives to the chemicals used, taking into account the preservation of the quality of the final product.”
The mentioned technology is quite new in Estonia. The Viljandi Window & Door Ltd. project is a good example of a carefully thought-out solution that supports both the environmental friendliness and the development aspect of the company.
